about 15 new potatoes or 8 larger red potatoes ( not the very small
new potatoes )
4oz / 115g cup butter or margarine
4oz / 115g parmesan cheese, grated
2oz / 60g plain flour
1tsp / 5g salt
1/4tsp / 1g pepper
1 dash paprika
Scrub and cut new potatoes into fourths or peel and quarter larger
potatoes lengthwise; put in cold water and soak for 1/2 to1 hour.
Melt the butter or margarine and pour it into a 9 x 13 casserole
dish.
Mix the Parmesan cheese, flour, salt, pepper and paprika in a small bag.
Shake the potatoes in the bag; place the potatoes in the casserole dish,
keeping them close together.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese mixture from the bag over the potatoes.
Bake at 350ºF / 1800C / gas mark 4 for 1 hour.
Do Not turn the potatoes over.
